Inside and Out

Perhaps you've seen the plastic from the outside, or you've seen the temporary walls up near the chapel and in the sanctuary foyer. There's work going on both inside and outside right now. On the outside, the concrete floor have been poured. On the inside, walls are being removed and spaces are being reconfigured. Here's a look at what is going on if you missed seeing the pictures in the service this morning.

An Open Floor Plan

We have floors! You may notice in the pictures that the floors on the second and third level do not go wall to wall but instead open to bottom level. This will give the connector a sense of spaciousness that you often encounter in many building entryways. It will also make it clearer to visitors that they have arrived in the right place for navigating to any floor in the building. The stairs, when they are added to some of this open space, will also make getting around much more intuitive as they will be immediately seen and it will be obvious where they go.
